Our mission is to promote open communication and understanding between parents and staff. Our efforts serve to enhance and maximize the education of every child while aiding them in achieving their highest potential.
The PTO sponsors assistance to teachers in classroom settings, holds fundraisers, supports school and family social interaction, and provides a forum for sharing information on issues that impact our children. It is our belief that the "team" effort of a Parent - Teacher organization offers the best possible learning environment for our children.
The PTO is responsible for hosting great family events and activities throughout the school year. Events such as the Fall Festival, the Spring Fling, and the Talent Show provide opportunities for families to socialize and become a part of our school community in addition to encouraging the social and emotional development of Ardmore students. The success of these events and activities depends on parent involvement and participation as volunteers.
Ardmore Dad's Club (PTO subgroup)
We are fathers, grandfathers, step-fathers, uncles, and other father figures of Ardmore students. Under the leadership of a program coordinator and the guidance of the school principal, the Alpha Squad is a new subdivision of the PTO.
There are 2 primary goals of the ALPHA SQUAD.
To provide more positive male role models for the students, demonstrating by their presence that education is important.
To provide extra sets of eyes and ears so teachers and students can focus on learning
